With only two days to go, and all of the final preparations being made, the Offshoot Film Fest is shaping up to be an exciting event for everyone involved. We have all been making a huge effort to ensure that the entire weekend will run smoothly. It is only through the efforts of our dedicated volunteers and supporters that the Offshoot Film Fest is promising to be such a success. So many people are devoting their time and resources to make this event possible. I am constantly amazed by our growing support. Each day brings new faces and new opportunities into the mix. One of the goals of the Seedling Film Association is to promote networking within the filmmaking community. The Offshoot Film Fest is a prime example of that goal being realized. With filmmakers coming in from various parts of the country, and even from overseas, the festival experience will be one of a kind. We have such a broad range of films in this year's selections that anyone can find something to enjoy. I hope that everyone has a chance to attend at least one screening at the festival, and can stick around to meet the filmmakers and talk with fellow movie lovers. And if you see a volunteer, don't hesitate to thank them for supporting the arts and their community!
See you at the Fest!

This year's Offshoot Film Festival promises to have something special for everyone. With almost seventy films to select from, you'll see the best! Whether you prefer horror, comedy, art, young love, experimental, environmental, social commentary, B&W, Arkansas-based, military, even films with no dialog...we have it all.
Whether a film runs four minutes or an hour and a half, our bleary-eyed team of jurors spent months watching every minute to ensure you get the best independent film experience.
I'm especially thrilled with the animation entries. There's some extremely inventive, creative, talented filmmakers out there, and you'll benefit from their work.
With a weekend pass, you could chose to see every film, all 27 hours, as there are no overlapping screenings...and the workshops and parties are included in the price!
See you all Oct 7-10 in Fayetteville.

I'm Jason Suel from the Seedling Film Association. We have been working hard for this years Offshoot Film Fest taking place in Fayetteville, October 7-10. We have received many outstanding films and we are excited to share them with you.
Newsflash, we have a mascot! His name is Sprout and he is an entirely green man. He doesn't say a lot, but he sure can dance. We are having a competition right now for FREE weekend passes to the fest and here is what you need to do to win one:
2) Take a picture of yourself with Sprout. Use your camera, phone, or any other sort of device. We don't care, just get that pic!
3) Be one of the first 25 people to post the picture of you with Sprout on the Seedling Film Association's Facebook page.
It's as simple as that. If you complete all of these steps, you will win a FREE weekend pass to the Offshoot Film Fest!
Finally, something you can do to help us is to start talking Offshoot up to your friends, facebooking, tweeting, and any other way to help get the word out.
Thanks everyone! Hope to see you as we hit the streets and at the Offshoot Film Fest, October 7-10.
